Last year, I was honored to be a part of the fantastic exhibit A La Carte: A Visual exploration of Our Relationship with Food at UAB’s Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts. It was bitter sweet in that the show never opened to the public due to the pandemic. Fortunately, the remarkable crew at AEIVA created a virtual tour of the show (see here) and a gorgeous catalog with an Introduction by Birmingham’s culinary hero Frank Stitt (available through AEIVA).
